Córdoba is a sunny city, but rain and midsummer heat both push you indoors. Luckily the main sights work well under a roof.
Indoor sights
The Mezquita-Cathedral is almost entirely indoors, and the palace of Viana and the Alcázar’s halls offer more shelter. Museums and churches in the old town are also good options.
Relax and eat
A visit to an Arab bath is a good way to spend an afternoon, and Córdoba’s tapas bars and cafés are made for long, slow meals.
