Córdoba is one of the hottest cities in Spain in summer, so timing matters more than in many destinations.
Spring and autumn
Spring is the classic time to visit: comfortable temperatures, flowers, and the May events, including the Patios Festival and Cruces de Mayo. Autumn is also pleasant and generally quieter.
Summer
July and August are very hot, with daytime temperatures often above 40°C. If you go, plan outdoor sights for early morning and use the afternoons for shade, museums and baths.
Winter
Winters are mild by northern European standards but can be cool, especially in the evening.
