Córdoba is one of the more affordable Spanish cities for eating out. You don’t need a big budget to eat well: the tricks are knowing when to eat and what to order.
Eat the menú del día
The weekday lunch menu is usually the best value of the day: a first course, a second course, dessert and a drink for a fixed price. A guide we checked listed a typical range of €10 to €18 (prices on 1 October 2026). See our lunch guide.
Share tapas
Ordering a few tapas and a media ración to share is a flexible way to eat. A food guide gave rough prices of €2 to €5 for a tapa, €5 to €10 for a media ración and €8 to €15 for a ración (prices on 1 October 2026). See tapas in Córdoba.
Have breakfast at a pastelería
Breakfast is one of the cheapest meals. At Pastelería Roldán, our receipt of 19 January 2024, from a holiday when we came back to Córdoba, shows cappuccinos at €1.40 each and a breakfast for two for €9.95 in total (prices on 19 January 2024). See our breakfast guide.
Typical prices
Numbeo, a crowd-sourced price site, listed these estimates for Córdoba in June 2026 (prices in June 2026): a meal at an inexpensive restaurant €12, a cappuccino €2.35 and a half-litre draft beer €2.50. A three-course meal for two at a mid-range restaurant, without drinks, was estimated at €50 (price in June 2026). These are estimates, and real prices vary by place.
Keep exploring
Cheap does not have to mean boring: the Mercado Victoria food hall has stalls for every budget, and breakfast at Pastelería Roldán was one of our best-value habits.
