La Mundi

La Mundi is one of our favourite places for the food, and the place to go for berenjenas. It is on Avenida del Gran Capitán, in the centre, and a green plant wall with the La Mundi sign greets you at the entrance.

Our verdict

Our rating: ★★★★½ (4.5 out of 5)

The food was super: we kept coming back for the berenjenas, the fried aubergine that became one of our favourite dishes in the whole city, and the spare ribs are a recommendation too. Where it falls short for us is the atmosphere: some music would help, and I am never a fan of a laminate floor in a restaurant. It is a place to go for the food, not for the setting.

According to a listing we checked on 3 October 2026, the menu is Mediterranean, with vegetarian and vegan options next to meat and fish.
