Living in Córdoba is easier without a car. The old town is walkable, and with a bike most places in the city are only a short ride away.
My experience
We lived in San Basilio and had bikes during our months in Córdoba.
By bike
We had bikes while we lived here. From our apartment in San Basilio, our padel club, Khalifa Padel, was less than ten minutes away by bike, which made it easy to go often. Read about padel in Córdoba.
On foot
The old town is compact and largely walkable. In summer, walk in the morning and evening. See getting around as a visitor.
City buses
Córdoba’s city buses are run by Aucorsa. Numbeo estimated a one-way local transport ticket at €1.30 and a regular monthly pass at about €52 in June 2026 (prices in June 2026). Check Aucorsa for current fares.
Taxis and the heat
Taxis are useful in the extreme heat of summer. We never needed a car, and the historic centre has restricted access for vehicles anyway. See our parking guide.

Most of our routes were short bike rides: to padel, to breakfast and to dinner at places like La Mundi. See living in Córdoba.
