Mezquita Free Entry

There are two ways to visit the Mezquita-Cathedral for free: a free visit window in the morning, and free entry for certain visitors. This page summarises what the official site said on 1 October 2026.

The free morning visit

The official site lists a free visit from Monday to Saturday between 8:30 and 9:30, except on days of an extraordinary celebration. Group visits are not allowed in this slot. Access is stopped at 9:20, so arrive early.

In summer, an early visit also means cooler temperatures.

Visitors who get in free

According to the official site, free entry applies to: people born or resident in the diocese of Córdoba; children under 10; holders of the Andalucía Junta 65 card; people with a disability over 64% together with one companion; and ICOMOS members.

Entry to the Route of the Fernandine Churches is also free for people born or resident in the diocese of Córdoba and for children under 10.
