What to check
Many rooftop and seasonal pools are open only in summer, and their opening dates vary, so ask the hotel. Check the pool’s size and whether it is shaded, since afternoon temperatures are very high: see our weather guide.
From experience
In summer we spent a lot of time indoors, and the heat was extreme. If you travel between June and September, a pool or air conditioning matters more than a few minutes’ walk. See summer in Córdoba.
